Mountain Goat Hunting - BC Goat Hunts
Canada is home to the largest population of mountain goats with 90% of the country's entire population residing in mountainous areas of British Columbia.
Our Mountain Goat hunts runs from the first of August to the middle of October. This guided hunt season runs parallel with our Moose, Caribou and black bear hunting seasons affording hunters great opportunities for guided hunt combinations along with their mountain goat hunts.
Mountain Goat hunts will involve a large degree of walking and some serious backpacking to obtain good trophy billies. Clients must be in excellent physical condition, able to walk, climb and carry a 35lb. backpack in rugged country. They also must be mentally prepared to suffer the hardships of being wet, cold and at times uncomfortable (as in many hunts but expected in Goat hunts.) Packers are available in advance only and are $175 per day for the duration of the hunt payable inadvance with the balance of your hunt.

Caribou Hunting & Guided Caribou Hunts
Caribou hunts are fly-in hunts only. The season starts on Aug 15th and runs till the 10th of October. The best option for caribou is a mid August to early September hunt when they are still in velvet. If you are interested in bagging 2 species on one hunt this caribou hunt is an excellent choice to combine with a fly-in Mountain Goat hunt. All fly-in hunts are backpack hunts and require walking from 1 to 4 miles per day.
